DIRECTOR – Judith Kukla

Judith Kukla is a Pastoral Counselor with the National Christian Counselors Association.  She is the founder of Agape Counseling and a Board-Certified Temperament Therapist.  She is an ordained minister of the Gospel and a retired Licensed Social Worker who has served the community in a variety of settings.  For over twenty-five years she ministered to the homeless, incarcerated, and mentally ill.

In numerous settings she has presented “A Spiritual Approach to Wellness” Conference, facilitated Support Groups and conducted Individual Counseling.

A.S. Community Mental Health Technology, Cuyahoga Community College

Bachelor in Social Work, Capital University

M.A. Clinical Christian Counseling, Cornerstone Theological University

“Although trained in various secular approaches, I chose to counsel with a Christian approach, treating the root – not the symptom.  As a Pastoral Counselor, I cannot counsel using anything other than the wisdom, knowledge, power, and guidance of the Bible and the Holy Spirit.”

 


MINISTERIAL VOLUNTEER – Cathy Curry

Cathy is a retired Registered Nurse who worked in long-term care for 13 years.

She has been serving the Lord for the past 42 years.  She has served in leadership positions in two Christian Schools.  Throughout the years she has led numerous Bible Studies, was Compassionate Ministry Director and Women's Ministry Director at her local church.  She also taught parenting classes at an unwed pregnancy home and led Codependency and Boundary classes at various churches throughout the years.  She ministered at the Healing Rooms of Greater Cleveland for five years.  For seven years she presented educational modules as she facilitated teachings for Restoration Ministry of Ohio.

She presently serves on her church’s Counsel.  She is teaching a Bible Study and facilitates a monthly marriage fellowship with her husband of 55 years. She has two married sons and two grandchildren.
